Project Name | Client | No of Lots | MUS Services |
|
Emerald Lakes (2000-2010) |
Nifsan Pty Ltd | 1,300 lots | Project Co-ordination and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. The project is a mixed commercial, residential and mid-rise unit development. Project challenges were surmounted by innovative bridge crossings, a tidal exchange and floodway outlet. Extensive flood constraints dictated a fine balance of cut and fill. The site was in a significant flood plain and involved excavation of a large lake, treatment of severe acid sulphate soils and filling of areas for development including treatment of underlying marine clays.
Park Lake (2004-2008) |
Sunland Group | 200 lots (of 600 lots) | Project Co-ordination, Town Planning, and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. The project included a large decorative lake, playing field, playground and swimming pool complex.
Regatta Waters (2004-2008) |
Sunland Group (sold part way through) | 250 lots (of 800 lots) | Project Co-ordination, Town Planning, and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. The project was on a sand mining site and included tidy up of the lake and quarry area.
Pacific Beach (Precinct A&B) |
Pacific International Development Corporation | 600 lots | Project Co-ordination, Town Planning, and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. The site was on sand and a large lake was constructed for fill. Being next to a commercial airport it involved significant planning constraints. The balance of the site was held for several years and eventually resumed for a major interstate highway. MUS developed a model for this which maximised the compensation paid to the client.
Various Town house Sites (1994-2007) |
Sunland Group | 30-300 units | Project Co-ordination, Town Planning, and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision.
Ormeau Hills (1995-2005) |
MCHA Pty Ltd | 650 lots | Project Co-ordination, Town Planning, and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. Development included significant external infrastructure and a high-level pressure pump water supply area.
Mudgeeraba Forest (1993-2005) |
Barrie Miller | 200 rural residential lots | Project Co-ordination, Town Planning, and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. The award-winning project contained innovative engineering to fit in within eco-environmental objectives. The project included a pressure system for high level water supply.
Monterey Keys (1992-2004) |
Kabale Holdings | 1,200 lots | Project Coordination, Town Planning and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision for 1,200 lots around a lake (1,500,000m3) over marine clays and sand. Project challenges were solved by a 200 metre bridge access over Saltwater Creek, a lock for boat access, and the introduction of vacuum sewer to Queensland.
Glenwood (1995-2003) |
Nifsan Pty Ltd | 1,200 lots | Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. Development was partially on flood plain and required compensatory earthworks and fill.
Gaven Heights (1993-2002) |
Sunland Group | 650 lots + townhouse sites | Project Co-ordination, Town Planning, and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision. Development was in steep and varied terrain and included the implementation of large rock walls for level blocks. The project involved implementation of an award-winning variable speed, constant pressure pump station for an elevated area.
Christine Avenue (1995-1998) |
Elesanar Pty Ltd | 850 lots | Project Coordination, Town Planning and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision for 850 lots on 3-5 metres of fill over marine clays, sand and peat.
Silvabank (1991-1996) |
Elesanar Pty Ltd | 950 lots | Project Coordination, Town Planning and Civil Engineering Design and Supervision for 950 residential lots including a lake (1,000,000 cu metres). Reclamation was achieved by filling 3-5 metres over marine clays. |
