Town planning and engineering services were provided for the development of a 3.5ha site located in the growing suburb of Logan Reserve. The project involved a 56 lot residential subdivision with one lot allocated to a child care centre. The subdivision included a road network and lots ranging in size from 325sqm to 530sqm.
Mortons worked with the client, from initial due diligence work through to lot layouts, approvals and engineering designs. It involved the preparation of a lot layout to maximise site efficiency and integrate with the planned road network in the area. Flooding, bushfire and stormwater management were significant matters required to be resolved in the design and approval process.
In its capacity as Project Engineer, Mortons – Urban Solutions has prepared and lodged operational works applications for the project and will manage the construction of the subdivision.
