Development Manager (Stockland Residential)

In my role at Stockland as Planning Manager and Development Manager, Mortons Urban Solutions have been the Project Engineer for The Observatory (900 lots), Riverstone Crossing (762 lots), Ormeau Ridge (810 lots), Vale (632 Lots) Jacobs Ridge (1,042 lots), Hundred Hills (192 lots) and Bahrs Scrub (1,200 lots).
As Project Engineer, Mortons has been responsible for managing and administering all engineering aspects of each project including obtaining the relevant approvals, coordination of consultants, civil design, construction cost estimation and budgeting, contract administration and construction superintendency.
I have always found Mortons to be strategic, proactive and commercial in their approach, particularly in their referral of sites for acquisition and in all aspects of Project Delivery through to Project Completion. Mortons has the capacity to operate in a Project Coordination role, and provide Civil Engineering and/or Town Planning input as required.

As a Development Manager for Villa World Group I have worked closely with the team from Mortons Urban Solutions on residential subdivision works from the feasibility/acquisition phase right through to the sealing of lots post civil construction. This includes their role as civil engineers and project coordinators on our current multistage residential subdivision ‘Brookside’, located in Ormeau, Queensland.

Senior Development Consultant (Leda Developments Pty Ltd)
Mortons Urban Solutions (MUS) have been engaged by Project 28 Pty Ltd to undertake civil design and project coordination of “Kings Forest” land development at Cudgen, NSW.
Kings Forest is a multi-staged 880 Ha residential development with a total yield of 4,500 residences, commercial and Open Space.
Since 2007, MUS has been involved in various aspects of the project including (but not limited to):
- Preliminary civil design of development pads and associated infrastructure totaling approximately 4,500 lots;
- Liaison with relevant authorities, consultants and stakeholders; and
- Preparation of reports for assessment by State and local government agencies.
Their particular leading and integrating hydraulic and hydrologic modelling has led to optimal development footprint outcomes whilst rationalising earthworks and infrastructure requirements.

State Development Manager (Villawood Properties)
As State Development Manager for Villawood Properties I have worked closely with Mortons Urban Solutions over the last four years on residential developments located in SE QLD and NSW. Their experienced team of engineers has completed multiple stages of design and construction on our developments with varying conditions and complex engineering issues. Mortons Urban Solutions has provided accurate advice on engineering costs and feasibilities to our acquisition team which has resulted in successful site purchases and ongoing projects.
Mortons Urban Solutions are currently engaged in engineering and project coordination roles for the following Villawood Projects:
- Essencia – 274 lot multi-staged residential development located at Dakabin, QLD; and
- Miramar – 175 lot multi-staged residential development located at Casuarina Beach, NSW including external roadworks and Council pump station. Miramar is a complex site with dune sands, ground water table restrictions and sewer pump station and rising main.
